Word 2003.
I have been saving templates which I have generated, into folders named
after the author of the applicable document. However, when I attempt to open
a saved template from an individual's folder, I am not afforded the option of
opening the template as a document - only as a template.
Additionally, when I open one of these saved templates and make revisions; I
am unable to re-save the revised document as anything other than a template -
not as a document.
I'm sure that there is a step that I am missing and I was wondering if these
inabilities stem from not having saved these templates under the default
template folders as established by Word.
I will be most appreciative of any insight or suggestions in this regard.
Thanks - Rod
