How do I save folders from Outlook in Word format, so I'll be able to access
all of the email messages within that folder in Word?

I tried the Export feature, but there is no option there for any .txt or
Word file.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

If you export your mail to a PST (personal folder), you can then view them
through Outlook. If you want to, you can save emails as text files but if
there are attachments you will likely not be able to use them. You can also
save emails as .msg format which saves the email exactly as you see it, even
if it has an attachment. Personally I would export to a PST.
Is there a particular reason you wish to save your email to Word?

I'm trying to save the folders so I can access them even when I don't have
access to Outlook. Any ideas? I tried to save as a PST and open in Word,
then save it as a Word document, but it didn't work. Just a lot of squares
and random characters.

Thanks.

You will need to drag and drop the messages you want to read into a Windows
file folder.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Data from Outlook (.pst files) can ONLY be read by Outlook. Without
Outlook, its data is useless.
