Saving outgoing mail to Saved Folder

Despite having checked Save to Sent in Options folder, my outgoing emails are
Not being saved at all. Anyone have a solution to this?
 
I suppose it depends how you access your emails, a bit more detail please.

thanks for getting back
generaly i simply click on outlook express, go to receive/send to log on
however, in the past in the same program on my laptio, all my outgoing sent
messages automatically got saved!
not so despite checking save all out-g to saved in options box
does that clarify?
