You all told me how to save web pages. Now, I would like to know how to
select and save non-text items like pictures.

Right click on the JPEG and choose Save Picture As...

Usually by right-clicking the picture and choose Save As. However, if you
want to save a large number of pages and images, you should have a look at
these two tools:
