saving jpeg

I can't save JPEG,I only get the choice of BMP..I have
cleared temp files numerous times,went into settings and
deleted everything in view objects..I have downloaded
Netscape and firebird and CAN save jpeg..Does anyone know
how I can correct this?Thank you..I'm using XP home IE6SP1
