saving images from a slid show?

I have received a file from a friend of mine which has a wmv extension.
I would like to save some of the photographs from this slide-show to a
file on a different folder ----how it could be done please.

Hello,

I don't know of any way to strip the images out of the wmv file. The best
suggestion I could give is to ask your friend to send you soft copies of the
pictures you want. If that won't work for you, taking screen captures and
creating the image files yourself is a possibility, although it's a bunch
more work.
