Saving from Excel to text

I am trying to save an excel spreadsheet as a text (tab
delimited) file but for some reason chracters are being
replaced with a '?', does anyone know why?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How are you saving the file? Try highlighting the
spreadsheet, copy, open Word, paste. Highlight the text
in Word, go to Tools, Table, Convert Table to Text, and
choose the Tab delimiter.

In Office 2000, I can highlight my cels in Excel and Ctrl+C, then open Word
and Edit>Paste Special>Unformatted text, and it pastes in as Tab Delimited
in one easy step. 8>)
