Saving final files for good quality

I really love MM. I tried some of the other highly acclaimed programs out
there and in the end came back to MM. If ONLY it had 2 tracks for video and
audio it would be PERFECT! (And a few other things!)
Question. I have a 1/2 hour movie and have each section saved and then will
put them all together to save as a final version. Should I be publishing EACH
section as DVD quality or is it OK to save them onto my computer as I have
been doing? Actually each section went through 2 publishings because I added
music.

I read all sorts of problems people have with burning DVD's so I'm a little
nervous about it. I need to save ONE and then send it off for multiple
copies.

For best quality each time you save, from the very first time, needs to be
in dv.avi. This is the least compressed of all the formats, and once used
will not lose quality the more times you save it.

I saved my files with Papa John's high def for wmv files and got a great
final product. It's 724 MB and I need to get it down to 700 to save to CD to
send to someone for DVD authoring as I don't have a DVD burner and not really
interested in getting one, believe it or not!

I really love MM compared to the other software's, though.

You'll need to slightly downgrade the bitrate you used.
