I am running a network with Novell 4.2 as the main
server. The workstations are a mix of Windows 98, 98SE,
W2K and XP Pro.
There are only three XP machines, but they all seem to
have the same problem. When they try to save a new file
to the server from one of the Office 2000 programs they
are told that access is denied, but they can save the file
to their own hard drive. Once done they can use Windows
explorer to copy the file to the correct directory on the
server.
This fault only happens on the machines running XP, and if
the user logges on a different terminal the problem goes
away, so it's not a rights issue.
Can anybody help?
