Saving Critical Updates

Is there a way to download and save critical and program updates for future
installation, or to archive on a CD?

Hi

On the Windows Update page click on 'Windows Update Catalog' - follow the onscreen prompts. If that option isn't available, click on 'Personalise Windows Update' and enable 'Display the link to Windows Update Catalog' and then 'Save Settings'.
