Saving a file error

I was modify some code today on my site with frontpage 2003. I upload the
code through the FTP function in FP03. Today when I edit a page and then
try to save it it gives me an error:"An Error occurred accessing your
Windwos SharePoint Servers site files." This error only happens on some
folders in my site and does not happen with others. I check Page
option-->Authoring and set Frontpage & SharePoint technologies to, "None".
Is there anything else I can do to fix this problem?

I dunno about SharePoint, but could FTP have crashed FP extensions, creating this problem?

I don't know what had happened, but since I backed up the web code locally
any, I just deleted the folder locally and brought back the backup copy of
the site and everything is working OK now. Do not knnow what had happened,
possibly FP03 cached some information in one of their files/folders
(_private, _vti_cnf, _vti_pvt, or any of the other folder). Who knows
