My University has a Wi-Fi AP set up with WEP. The Net
Admin has set the WEP for me, but I now want to save the
wireless connection settings for that AP. Is that
possible? I am running XP Pro. Or is there a way to save
the WEP that is encrypted on my system?? I just want to
have a b/kup if I want to "start fresh" with a clean
install, which I do frequently. Thanks in advance...

Hi,

You'll have to ask your Network Administrator for the WEP key or tell him to
key it in for you again into the Windows XP's Wireless Zero Configuration
screen.
