Save settings

There are a number of settings that are not saved for the next boot up.
They are:
Folder View detail settings. Some folders are set to display icons but when
restarted, they show lists or details.
"Remember each folder view settings" is checked.
Passwords are not remembered even though the option to save passwords is
selected.
New email screens start in less than maximized even if I always maximize
them.
IE starts in less than full screen.

Any suggestions?

OE and IE will not remember if you maximize the screen. Instead of
maximizing, grab the edges of the window and drag to the size you want
then close the window. Now they will be remembered.

Can't help you on the other issues.

For those apps that start from shortcuts, you can right click the shortcut,
choose Properties, then select "Open Maximized." It works for me with OE and
IE.
However, it doesn't help with sub windows in OE. Here you must adjust the
window size manually. It does remember for New Mail, Reply, Forward, etc.
