Hi, I just got XP Professional installed and I would like
to know HOW I can save my settings when I use Windows
Explorer.

I would like to keep the DETAILS VIEW but EVERY TIME I do
something, it defaults back to LARGE ICONS!!

It irritates the crap out of me but I don't know how to
change the defaults.

Thanks for any help

Kelly's link, below, may help. Click on "F", and scroll down to...

"Folder Views - Keep Settings"

I assume an actual reply to my question would be out of
the question then?

There are few better resources than Kelly's site. Did you try the earlier
suggestion?
If folder views are not "sticking", then this info may be your answer.
