Can an OL98 PersonalFolder.pst file be saved to a CD, then imported back
into OL XP?

Thanks,

Yes, but the poper way to do it is;
-locate your pst-file (include hidden files/folders when searching for it)
and burn it to CD when Outlook is closed
-Restore the pst-file to a folder on the new machine (I always use My
Documents\My Outlook)
-Remove the read-only file attribute (rightclick the file-> Porperties)
-Open Outlok on the new machine
-Use File-> Open-> Outlook Data File... to connect to the pst-file
-Use Tools-> E-mail Accounts-> button Next to configure the pst-file as the
default delivery location
-Restart Outlook
