SATA question

My system - P4 3.4 Intel 915GAV 2G ram 2 - 250G SATA drives ( not a RAID)

In checking around on the system, I noticed that the SATA drives are capable
of DMA6 but are using ATA 100/133 DMA5. Could find no setting in the BIOS to
change this. Is this a configurable item? Need BIOS or mobo driver update?

Not a big deal, system runs fine - just curious

Thanx - you've given me a direction to keep looking - Intel is my next stop
to double check the specs on the mobo.
