I want to install a SATA drive and Card
Do I Install the Card and reboot the pc? or can I install both the card and
Drive then boot the system to the Drive, I'm leaving XP Home on one of my
other drives till i get the O/S set up on the SATA. Thanks

You can probably install the drive(s) and PCI card with the PC off. Refer to the SATA card's documentation.

So the card will have instructions? The Drive came with no documents so
I'm hoping the card does....
Should I disconnect all the other drives, and set the bios to boot from
the CDROM or SCSI when I put the XP Home cd in the DVD burner drive?
My board is SATA compatable it just didn't come with the plug-in on the
board.
and what about my other cards, should i remove them also? ( Audigy, and a
TV card)
Thank You

Install the card, boot the computer and when Windows detects New Hardware be
ready with the floppy that has the drivers.

Shot off the computer, install harddrive, restart and when Windows comes up
it should 'see' the new hard drive. Start > Programs > Administartive Tols >
Computer Management will have the programs necessary to finish setting the
drive up.
