SATA 2 nForce 4 A8N-sli Deluxe

I cannot get win XP -home- to see 2 SATA 2 hard drives. They worked
fine under x64 pro. 1 has data the other does not. The A8N-sli deluxe
does support SATA 2 drives. I could believe one drive may have somehow
been corrupted, but not both at the same exact time. I have them
connected to the nForce rather then the Silicon. They are listed in
the Device manager but not in "My Computer". In Disk Management they
are listed, but with a " ! " and where it would say "online" they
are listed as "foriegn". Raid is off in Bios, version 1016 btw. I
have no raid and I never have with these hd's. If there is no raid,
and the os is not on the drive then it is NOT a matter of F6 during
windows install. I am about out of Ideas and I hope a my fellow
googler can help me fix this issue.

A8N-sli Deluxe
AMD +4000
2 Gig Corsair
500w X-Connect
7800 GTX
2 x 120 IDE
2 x 160 SATA 2 --- Maybe
Currently XP Home till i get x64 back up.

HI There
If you have the sata drives connected to the SATA Raid connectors you still
need the F6 drivers installed.(but running as single drives)
I do on my ASUS board anyway.
If i use the SATYA drives on the SATA conectors for IDE i don't need the F6
drivers.
Hope this helps.

Incorrect, more often than not
