Hey all, I'm running Windows Vista Build 6000... my Sapphire Radeon 9600 Pro
Atlantis video card driver will not load, the error info is below:
Description:
Windows was able to successfully install device driver software, but the
driver software encountered a problem when it tried to run. The problem code
is 43.
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: PnPDeviceProblemCode
Architecture: x86
Hardware Id: PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4150&SUBSYS_0200174B&REV_00
Setup class GUID: {4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}
PnP problem code: 0000002B
Driver name: atikmdag.sys
Driver version: 7.1.1.537
Driver date: 12-05-2006
OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033
I've tried the windows driver, and the AMD driver.... both yeild the same
result (error 43). I tried installing and uninstalling the Catalyst Control
Center several times... sometimes just the driver without the CCC. I've
actually never been able to run the CCC, I click on it and it wont start up.
I've been working on this for two days straight now... there sure seems to be
a lot of problems with video cards and vista... argh! Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Ty
