Mike

I got this error during boot up, it happened 6 months ago too. Is this card
about to die?

Sucks to hear about your problem, but I say half-jokingly that I can't
help but wonder if it's called "Atlantis" for a reason!

Sounds like ya have to re-install drivers...

F8 during startup, safe modus and from that point you remove the
drivers..should work!

I just found out the fan died. I haven't played any games in awhile so I
hope the chip isn't fried. Where can I get a replacement

If you want to maintain the warranty on your card, Mike, RMA it.

Otherwise, there are a number of alternative GPU coolers out there.
Just look through this ng.
