San Disk 512 Flash Drive

Basically the same thing happend to me. Mine was working on my Dell in
WinXP, then moved it to my laptop, using Win 98. When I went back to the XP
with the flash drive, nothing happened. Now, it doesn't work at all.

Disk Management does not recognize it. And, the flash drive does not work
on the laptop either.
 
Don't know the answer to your situation, but Sandisk has an excellent tech
support dept. I had two different problems, and they fixed everything ASAP.
Prior to that, they immediately replaced my 256 mb drive that stopped
responding.
