I'm currently using three Samung 840 Pro SSD's in my MacPro and I may need to get some larger capacity ones. What is the difference between the 850 Pro and 860 Pro and are they better than the 840 Pro? I'm assuming the Samsungs are the best are they? I've had flawless performance so far from these drives over the last 3 years or so.

Unless you really hit the drive hard, I'd probably go for the highest capacity from the 850/850Pro/860/860Pro to fit the budget. It's not normally I'd work backwards like that, but those are all really good drives and storage space is so easy to fill these days. You may be able to pick up a bargain 850 now that the 860 is out, and there won't be a huge difference :).

The sales pitch, and another year ... you have to keep producing new stuff, even if it's not really new, or people will forget you.
