samsung hd080hj wake up problem

Hi,

I got following drives in my pc.

Bootdrive=> Seagate ST3120813AS (120 GB, 7200 RPM, SATA-II)
SAMSUNG HD080HJ (80 GB, 7200 RPM, SATA-II)

I set hdd sleep to 30min. In 30min. Drive Samsung sleeps. When I click
to the drive, it does not spin up. The system gets frozen or works very
slowly...

When I hit the reset button, I can hear Samsung hdd waking up after
bios detection.
Is there a solution, is drive defective? Please help...

The config of my pc is as follows:
CPU Type AMD Athlon 64, 2000 MHz (10 x 200) 3200+
Motherboard Name Gigabyte GA-K8N Pro-SLI (2 PCI, 2 PCI-E x1, 2 PCI-E

Have you loaded drivers that came with your motherboard? Check if there
is a BIOS update for your board on Gigabyte website.

Why ? That isnt even the default in XP anymore.
In 30min. Drive Samsung sleeps. When I click to the drive, it

Yes, dont sleep the drive.
