Samsung 193P with MagicTune under Linux

I'm considering buying of Samsung 193P LCD monitor which does not have any
physical configuration buttons. All adjustments can only be done through
MagicTune software which runs on Windows, but not on Linux.

I would like to know the following: Is it possible to configure this monitor
through MagicTune software on Windows and than switch to Linux? Do
configured settings persist on the monitor or do they disappear once the
computer operating system is switched to Linux since there could be no
MagicTune installed? With other words: are configured settings stored on
monitor or in MagicTune software on the computer?

Thanks,
Dominik
