Same PST file across different domains

I move across two continents (basically two offices in different
Windows 2000 domains). Now what happens is that each time my Laptop is
configured for domain "A" all my mails (.pst) file is lost. I have to
do a lot to recover them!
Again after a few months when I come back and my laptp is configured
for domain "B" all my settings are lost again as my Windows XP profile
changes (or gets deleted!)

What is the solution ?
Can I have a common .PST file in a different drive ?
What are outlook profiles, will it be of any use to me ?
My .pst file is more then 2 GB, will it create any problems ?

Thanks for any help (and answering my queries)

Regards,
Dev

Version of OL is relevent to size, ie pre OL2003 there is a 2gb size limit
If you are not using 2003 then I suggest you do something about size, whilst
your pst is still working, immediately if not sooner!!!!!!!!

Two profiles allow for different accounts etc to be kept entirely seperate

If accessing an Exchange server from either or both domains, you should be
using an .ost file (offline folders) and separate profiles for each domain.
Outlook 2002 and 2003 make this easier than earlier versions so had you
posted your version, I would have included instructions for accomplishing
this.
