You are very limited to what you can do with the Frontpage discussion
component. You should consider using a database and a forum - like WebWiz,
Snitz, vBulletin, etc. There are much better and easy to maintain and
control spam.
Forums, blogs, guestbooks are a haven for spammers and usually it requires
some type of athentication as well as possible moderated posts
Like Corey, I think it is (nearly?) impossible with Frontpage. It can be
done with a captcha (image to get a text from), and/or in combination with a
login system. There are some PHP sytems that have those, like phpBB (you can
get one at www.forumup.com)
I didn't see one that would explain what same problem she's referring to.
It's much easier to help people of the post actually contained all the
information we needed about the problem. Many of us don't keep older posts.
