Then just monitor (i.e., watch) Mark's post, whatever and wherever that is,
for the solution, if any.

I did exactly as written and I am now up and running like I have a new machine!
Remember to re-enable the 3rd party browser and reboot setting before you attempt to download the AD-Aware and SpyBot - I downloaded both free via PC-World.com
