same prob no desktop or login

ok so i had did chkdsk said there were unfixable problems
any idea...
prob:
windows boots and hangs at black background and mouse. no
login nothing. keyboard doesnt work

unfixable problems doesn't sound good.
Try chkdsk /r from the recovery console.

Who is the harddrive made by? Go to the web site
of the manufacturer and download their diagnostic program.
Use it to check your drive.
