Same emails, won't let new emails through

I have outlook express on XP, and am having a problem
with it send/receiving the same 6 emails even though it
says i have 27. Have updated and run antivirus several
times.
 
Don,

I have had a similar problem with Outlook last year. Are the 6 emails coming
from the same person/or company? if so you can report it to your ISP and
they should be able to delete from the mail server.
