Sorry to burst your bubble but take a look at this: £140.00

And you can get a 256Mb 6800GT for £165.00 now, so you may just want to revise your pricing a little ;)

£135?! I'd pay the £5 more and get brand new :)

You would be looking at around £100, which barely gets you a 9800pro anyway

When it comes to buying components I never buy top of the line as it loses too much value. Mid priced is the way to go.

Yep thats right hardware is developing at an ever increasing rate. The thing that most people need all this power for is gaming. If your not a gamer then you have no worries because a computer you use for office tasks, coding, web design, etc will still be able to do the same job for many years to come. Its the fact that the latest games demand high end hardware to run at maximum settings with great framerates. Moral of the story, if your a pc gamer who wants good settings, be prepared to pay alot and lose alot of invested money. I'm converting over to console gaming myself, so much cheaper and no hassle.

Might be worth considering this before you sell/purchase:

9800 Pro 128Mb:

Core: 380Mhz
Memory: 340Mhz
Pipes: 8

6800 128Mb:

Core: 325Mhz
Memory: 350Mhz
Pipes: 12

Hardly seems worth the bother to me.

Just buy a better cooler and overclock the 6800 Core speed :)

I'm on skullcrusher and have a level 39 human warrior. Thing is I'm cancelling my account in a few days because I want to spending more time learning new things rather than pouring my time into an bottomless well.

Ok, you sell your card if you're lucky for £105, spend a fiver posting it, you have a hundred quid.

You buy the 9800 Pro from E-Buyer (good luck) for around £82 inc. postage.

So you've made eighteen quid and downgraded your card a little.

How desperate are you for money?

Go work in McDonalds for a few weeks or go wash some cars ;)
