Greetings --

In enter Safe Mode tap F8 just before the Windows XP loading screen when you
are booting your PC.
 
how do i get into safe mode when XP Home Edition is
loading?

PRess F8 repeatedly after the BIOS or POST screen comes up and before
login screen appears. Best time is when you see a white line appears
at bottom of screen when XP loads.
