Safe Mode

If I try to restart my computer in safe mode, it automatically goes back to
regular mode and doesn't open to safe mode.

What should I do?

i'm a guessing but it
sounds like something happened inside your
normal mode, then when you tried to get
into safemode to resolve the issue, you
found another issue.

In any case, use your windows setup cd
start setup, select new install, then say yes to
repair the o.s. that it found on your harddisk.

Does it start correctly in normal mode? For what reason are you trying to start in
Safe Mode?
