Why Norton antivusrtus doesn't work in Safe mode? An error message from
windows pop up. The technical detail of this message is

AppName: nmain.exe AppVer: 103.0.2.10 ModName: ascompbr.dll
ModVer: 2005.1.2.6 Offset: 00009179

Any suggestions?

The cynical answer would be that your computer is safer that way.

There must be something more to that error message, something that
identifies an error code or type of error.

If that is all there is to the error report the you probably need to
contact Symnatec Tech Support or search their website for possibly
relevant information.
