Internet Explorer crash

I'll be in my Internet Explorer, and it just brings up
"Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close". When I open the technical explanation link, one
of these messages appear:

AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106 ModName:
kernel32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.1106 Offset: 0001a669
----------------------------------------------
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106 ModName:
ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.1217 Offset: 00019ecd

Anyone know what this is, and how to fix it?
Thanks

Yup, this happened to thousands of machines after one of the last updates, there are posts on loads of forums about this problem it is slightly better with service pack 2 but the real answer is just getrid of internet explorer which has more holes than a well used pin cushion! Try Mozilla It's great!
