IE7 and Outlook crash (kernel32.dll) on certain websites

Both IE7 and Outlook crash when viewing certain websites. Both come up with a
kernel32.dll error. I've tried many, many things with no sucess.

Here's the IE7 error:
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 7.0.6000.165544 ModName: kernel32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.3119 Offset: 0004b15d

Outlook Error:
AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 11.0.8169.0 AppStamp: 465f28e3
ModName: kernel32.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.3119 ModStamp: 46239bd5
fDebug: 0 Offset: 0004b15d

Any ideas? This is driving me nuts.

When all else fails, HijackThis v2.0.2
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.exe) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware with
assistance from an expert. **Post your log to

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.

Here's an idea: Ask in a group that has something to do with your
problems, like an IE7 or OE group.

Ask elsewhere.

What does OE have to do with his problem? He didn't mention it and neither
did the error messages.

Well thanks for your helpful suggestion. Unfortunately, there is no IE7 group
on this website for whatever reason. It only goes to IE6. I did not post in
the Outlook group because the problem is based within IE, while viewing html
pages in Outlook. I figured this was the best place to post since there was
no appropriate IE7 forum. Thanks for your concern, and I hope you can assist
other people in the future with your undeniable charm. Just don't bother to
reply to my posts from now on.
