Safe Mode With Mouse

Please advise on how I can run Safe Mode and still have mouse functionality
(XP SP2). Tabbing and arrow use can be very very slow. Thanks in advance.

To work around this behavior, use a standard keyboard or mouse instead of a
USB keyboard or mouse.
