Russian Language Support

I would like to purchase a computer for use by me and my
Russian fiance. Does XP support switching back and forth
from English to Russian? Is it possible to key cyrillic
characters on a standard keyboard?

You will need to configure a dual-boot Windows installation.
A new, empty partition or drive will be required so you can
install the "full Russian version" of Windows XP. You will
then have the option to boot to the English version or the
Russian version.

You can purchase the "full Russian version" of Windows XP from here:

Hi Jim,

Control Panel/Regional and Language options/languages tab/details, install
the Russian keyboard language as a secondary.
