Only thing I can find on this is the following article:

It's a post SP2 hotfix. Not sure if it's related.
On a side note, can you add the PAB as a service instead
of importing it?
 
Are you sure you have all your importer utilities installed correctly?
Remove and re-add them using the Office Setup program and the Office CD.
