I reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled Xp Home and Office. Now when I
get to different Internet Explorer pages, I sometimes get a message that a
"Runtime Error has occured, do you wish to Debug". If I choose yes, I get a
window that asks if I want to use the Microsoft Script Editor to debug.
What program is causing this and how do I disable it. It is a pain because
it happens about 2 out of 5 web pages I come across.

Try going to
tools>internet options>advanced>select disable script debugging

This should fix the issue.

Hi Preston,

You can disable this feature going to Control Panel > Internet Options
Advanced Options tab, and scrolling to 'Disable debug in command
sequence' you can also disable 'Show notification about every error'.

Hope this helps.
