I just did a clean reinstall of my XP home - format and all. I am receiving
a runtime error when i go to a certain website

A runtime Error has occured
Do you wish to debug?

Line: 62
Error: 'win2' is null or not an object

Any ideas? i have tried the sfc /scannow but no luck

This can be a problem when viewing webpages. It usually means whoever
developed the webpage had a slight programming error.
The easy way to fix is just go to Tools | Internet Options. Then click on
the Advanced tab and make sure that you have ticked "Disable script
debugging" and unticked "Display a notification about every script error".

From: http://www.fjsmjs.com/IE/scriptdb.htm

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Check the box to Disable script debugging.
Uncheck the box to Display a notification about every script error.

You might want to refresh your scripting engine:
Windows Script 5.6 for Windows 2000 and XP
