Runtime Error

I keep getting this message in my Outlook Express:

Runtime Error!

Program:C\Program Files\IDM\Desktop
SMS\DesktopSMSexe

The application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the applications support team for more information.

Can anyone help me with this please. Thanks.

Are you sure it's under Outlook Express? That program won't run under
Vista. I remember someone else having problems with SMS programs
under Vista, though, so you might check the website of the company
the SMS programs come from.

I don't know. You might try a Google search for SMS and see if it
finds anything useful.

Thanks Gary,
Have been on the site you recommended and there is a notification saying
"LEARN MORE ABOUT DESKTOP SMS" but this will not open. When I uninstall it
how do I do that and then where do I go from there.

Thank You for your help.

I don't think it is compatible with Windows Mail. I recommend you uninstall it.

I am not familiar with SMS software, so I'm working blind here.
Most any software can be uninstalled by going to Control Panel,
Classic View (if not already selected), Programs and Features.
