Runtime Error

Running WinXP 5.1 & IE 6.0

After closing IE, I could not get it to open again. It will not open a
window, and gives me an "Runtime Error!" error box which states that "This
application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please
contact the application's support team for more information. (I have tried
deleting cookies, temp files, history, etc. but nothing has helped.)

The strange thing about it is that IE will run fine when I log in under
another user's profile.

Just found the answer - uninstall the google toolbar from the control panel
and reboot. Then reinstall the toolbar from google.com

Thank You!!! I uninstalled both the Yahoo! and the Google toolbars, and
Internet Explorer now works!

Thanks again. I was at the end of my sanity on this one.

thanks - I was having the same problem and after many hours read your post
and solved the problem. I noticed that it happened after two things -
1)Verizon did an update to equipment; and 2) I received an auto update from
microsoft. Don't know if either had anything to do with creating the problem.
