Runtime Error in Outlook

When trying to start Outlook I am receiving the following error.

Runtime error: Program:C:\Program Files\microsoft\office10\outlook.exe
This application has requested Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the applications support team for more information".

Outlook won't launch. Any suggestions what I do to fix this?

Hi Randy,
From the run dialog box type : outlook /safe
Click to expand...
then select other>advanced options then click add-in manager and one by
one check if any of those addins are causing the issue. Also do the
same with com addins.
