runtime error 216 at 00004E62

anybody know why this occurs and freezes the computer?
all clues gratefully recieved. It's not the listed
compatability with mouse software listed on the microsoft
site.

Runtime error 216 at 00002CA4
When OK was clicked changed to 00004E62.
It appears to have been caused by Gateway's Windows Snapshot item *SnS
HotKey* item in start-up group.
Once this was removed no further problems.
