I am looking for some assistance with a Runtime C++ error that I receive.
The error will show up when I am on the computer using the internet and then
my husband will switch over to his profile and then try to access the
internet. The error says runtime c++ error
programfiles\internetexplorer\iexplore.exe. We are running Windows XP
Professional with Service Pack 2 and Internet Explorer 6. Any help is
greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You need to post the exact error message.

Just in case it is this one....

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.
Runtime Error!
Program: c:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE
The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an
unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Microsoft will probably hate me for saying this, but have you ever thought of
using Mozilla FireFox? It's supposedly way more secure than Internet
Explorer. Though I mainly use Internet Explorer, you might find Mozilla to be
a lot better.

You can download it here: http://www.mozilla.com/

No, I haven't thought of using FireFox.
Why are you telling me this?
Please direct such replies to the OP, not to me.

Sorry..I'm not experienced with the Microsoft boards yet. I've only been here
for a day or two.

I'll repost it to him

Hi Alan! Thank you for your response. The message you posted below is the
exact error message that we are receiving, but we do not have the Google
Toolbar. So now what? Thanks again for your help!
