Runtime C++ Error

I am looking for some assistance with a Runtime C++ error that I receive.
The error will show up when I am on the computer using the internet and then
my husband will switch over to his profile and then try to access the
internet. The error reads as stated below (or very similiar):
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.
Runtime Error! Program: c:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE
The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an
unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

We are running Windows XP
Professional with Service Pack 2 and Internet Explorer 6. We do not have
the Google Toolbar installed on our computer! Any help is
greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have the same problem and have asked at this site and with no results. I
have changed the registry and then down loaded IE 6 again with no results.
Have you had power out, added new software, downloaded anything from McAfee,
any other event? Jim

Hi, I've been plagued w/ this problem as well. I have a question, on the
info below does it matter if i install the fix under my profile which has
access to control panel? Or do i have to be in the profile w/ the problem?
Per other research I've also removed google toolbar and non microsoft plug
ins, so far nothings worked. I also did a system restore that actually worked
for about 2 days. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
