running windows 3.1

I have got a learning pack from work and tried to install
it but it will not open any of the modules
it says i need windows 3.1 or higher which i have of
course
so why will it not let me open any files within the cd

If it's old enough to mention 3.1, then it won't work on XP.

Microsoft stopped supporting Win 3.1 at about the same time that Noah was
overseeing the disembarking of the Giraffe pair.. Surf the net to find a
newer learning pack.. it may serve you better in the 2003 and beyond..
