This is from a novice so please be kind. I am thinking
about about a 2nd computer! My question is can I
transfer information between my two computers with
windows xp? If so where would I go to find how how this
is done. Thanks

There are many sources of information on how to network your two
computers. One good one is www.practicallynetworked.com.
