Running Slave HDD

I installed XP Pro on a Slave hard disk drive, so that I can
have all data and programs installed and ready to function
when my Master drve gives trouble. It's sort of my way of
having another 'backup'.

The programs are all there in 'Program Files'. I can boot to
that hard drive at will. So now how do I get the programs into
the list of programs which I can run from Start>All Programs....
and eventually callable from Desktop by clicking the icon?

Thank you.

Norm, I did just that, i.e., copy the whole Program Files directory
with all its contents. I felt that was a good start, better than nothing,
in the hope that some method could be devised to execute them. I
tried Ghost and found it unpleasant to use. I'll look into Drive Image...
but maybe somebody has a way to "install" them on the Slave. Thanks.
