Running separate versions of Access ?????

We have a database that was built in Access97. I have
been advised by a comp support person that this particular
database did not convert readily into Access2000 and
therefore, I continue to have 97 on my machine. However,
we also have databases built in 2000.

Is it possible to have both Access versions running at the
same time? I was installing another Office product and
when it came up as to whether or not to upgrade Access,
there was a checkbox to "keep this program".

Any ideas?

Tracey,

Here is an article describing the installation/use of Access 97 and 2000 on
the same computer:

ACC2000: How to Install Access 97 and Access 2000 on the Same Computer

Also, if I were in your position, I would want to have more detail as to why
the database "did not convert readily into Access 2000", but that's just me
<g>.

I'd agree with that sentiment. The only circumstance I can think of
is if it's an MDE and the MDB can't be found.
